Who we are…

HS News Systems is a leading provider of automatic distribution systems. We establish close customer relations at an early stage and create project specific solutions for ideal distribution system design. HS News Systems’ forerunner Media Craft was founded already in 1986. HS News Systems was started in 1995. The H and the S in HS News Systems has it’s origin in the names of the founders; Hognestad and Sletterød.

What we do…

Our trademark is warehousing solutions. We operate across the world with wholesalers, logistical companies, shipping companies and production companies as our main partners. In addition to employees working on software and hardware development. We also engage service technicians responsible for customer needs 24/7, 365 days a year.

How we do it…

HS News Systems is a privately owned company with 23 employees, whose headquarter is located in Kongsberg, one hour from Oslo, Norway plus 5 at our sister company HS News Systems GmbH in Germany. Our attention to quality and cost effectiveness is proven through constant growth. All our solutions are continuously evolving, and many of our customers use the opportunity to benefit from system upgrades.

Our idea…

Back in the 80’s the founder of HS News Systems, Jon Hognestad, discovered the lack of modern equipment which could make the packing and distribution of magazines, books and newspapers more efficient. He saw the opportunity to make systems which could simplify and streamline the industry, both in the process of packing and of return. The result became todays HS News Systems.
